I’m Tobie Clapcott — a professional photographer, filmmaker, and GVC qualified pilot, and a member of both the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and the Royal Photographic Society (RPS). For me, photography has always been about more than pressing a shutter. It’s about atmosphere, energy, and emotion, freezing fleeting moments so they can be revisited and remembered long after the day has passed.
I’ve photographed a diverse line-up of performers, including Scouting for Girls, Aston Merrygold, General Levy, Levi Roots, Harleymoon Kemp, and Symphonic Ibiza. My lens has also captured internationally recognised DJs such as Shy Cookie (The House & Garage Orchestra), Sarah Giggle (DJ and producer with international residencies from Ibiza to Dubai), DJ Bezi (Cyberdog resident DJ) and Centreforce Radio’s Steve Facey, Josh Watts, and RBEE. I’ve also covered high-energy performances from acts such as the Spice Girls Experience (support act to Adele), AC/DC Hells Bells, 24K Bruno Mars, Oasiz (Oasis tribute), the Simply Red Experience, the Red Hot Tribute Peppers, and the powerful artistry of Amy True, whose blend of hip hop, soul, and activism brings raw authenticity to her performances.
Alongside live music and events, I’ve photographed models including Macy Griffiths (represented by Nemesis Models and AS Agency UK), Molly Shaw-Downie (Royal Ballet School graduate and performer with New Adventures), Kate Willy (represented by Pink Mustard Agency), as well as Demi Hughes (Pulse Model Agency), Stuart Dunstan (MOT Models), and G Brodie, each with an emphasis on individuality and expression.
Beyond performance and modelling, my portfolio includes weddings, portraits, equestrian photography, editorial commissions, and real estate projects. Whether it’s the intimacy of a portrait, the emotion of a wedding, or the detail of a property, I bring the same storytelling approach to every commission. As a GVC qualified pilot, I also add cinematic aerial perspectives, giving my clients dynamic imagery with scale and impact.
